The eagerly anticipated KAWS Take Figure was finally released by the artist on June 9th, 2020, several months after the KAWS Share Figure was released in February. This newly released figure features a black BFF holding a black Companion, which is the opposite of the KAWS Share Figure where a black Companion holds a black BFF. Measuring 13.39 x 6.3 x 5.12 inches, each figure carried a retail price of $360. KAWS first introduced the Take design at the Skarstedt Gallery in London during his BLACKOUT exhibition in late 2019.
