The Coupé wall lamp, designed by Joe Colombo in 1967 and manufactured by Oluce in Italy, is an adjustable metal lamp that provides direct and reflected light. Initially developed as a variation of the Spider family, Coupé has since become an iconic Oluce collection. Its innovative mechanism allows users to direct the light beam in multiple directions by simply moving the dome up, down, and side to side. This lamp won the International Design Award at the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago in 1968 and is included in the permanent collections of both MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich. It is available in two versions with semi-cylindrical or semi-spherical domes and comes in black or white colors. The lamp is made of chromium-plated metal and aluminum and measures D 93 cm x W X cm x H 115 cm. It requires one max 100 W (E27) bulb and is wired for Europe. Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector and is renowned for its exquisite design aesthetics and unparalleled manufacturing excellence.
