The 'Coupé' wall lamp, designed by Joe Colombo in 1967, features a chromium-plated stem, lacquered wall fixings, and an adjustable reflector made from lacquered aluminium. Manufactured by Oluce in Italy, this lamp was one of the first to utilise halogen light technology in domestic lighting. The Colombo lamp's clean, functional design embodies the futuristic vision of its creator, and continues to be a top-seller in the Oluce catalogue decades later. The updated 50th anniversary version is now available with modern LED dimmer technology. The lamp is available with a black stem and chrome finish, and measures D 28cm x W 14cm x H 45cm. It uses 1 x max 24 W (LED). Founded in 1945, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector and has received numerous awards for its iconic designs by prominent designers from Italy and around the world.
