Initially created in 1970, the Kartell 4630 Roto/Rotocenere ashtray, which came to production in 1973 following the demise of the designer Joe Colombo, highlights Colombo's exceptional work. The ashtray is made of red plastic, which is remarkably crafted with elegant lines and a well-thought design allowing the three-part ashtray to swivel and conceal cigarette ashes. Its design is contemporary, efficient, and sophisticated. Unlike most of Colombo's other designs, the ashtray is uncommon, making it more exclusive. The item is in excellent classic condition with no indications of wear, except for a minor hairline crack (visible in the pictures) and has a label underneath. It measures 4" x 4" x 4", and it looks pleasing.
