Considered one of Italy's most iconic designers, Cesare 'Joe' Colombo (1930-1971) brought forth his innovative concepts in design through his Roto-living and cabriolet-bed units, both designed for his own apartment in 1969. He then unveiled the Total Furnishing Unit, which presented a complete "living-machine" on just 28 square meters at the 'Italy: The Domestic Landscape at the Museum of Modern Art' exhibition in New York in 1972. Colombo's creativity also extended to the Triedro Lamps, which he designed for Stilnovo in 1972. Drawing inspiration from the lamps used in photography studios, both pendants bear the trademark 'Stilnovo' sticker.
