The Joe Colombo Model #2202 "Coupé" table lamp in white for Oluce is a stunning example of midcentury Italian design. Originally crafted in black metal and chrome, this minimalist masterpiece is highly adjustable, allowing for up/down and right/left rotation of the shade. Despite being designed in 1967, this icon of lighting is still lovingly made by Oluce in Italy using the same meticulous manufacturing techniques and stellar craftsmanship as the original. It boasts a lacquered metal base, chromium-plated stem, and adjustable reflector in lacquered aluminum. The Coupé series was created as a variation of the Spider family, retaining its base and stem. Its innovative and straightforward mechanism enables the beam to be directed in different directions by moving the dome up, down and sideways. It won the International Design Award of the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago in 1968 and is included in the permanent collections of both the MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich. Price is per item, with a floor lamp version available in a separate listing. In-stock availability subject to change without notice, with a lead time of 7-8 weeks or more if out of stock. Please inquire prior to purchasing if the order is time-sensitive. This lamp accommodates one medium base (e26) bulb with a maximum wattage of 100w and is UL listed.
