Created by Joe Colombo in 1966, the wall lamp Fresnel is a versatile lighting fixture designed to emit both direct and diffused light. Its support is made of lacquered aluminum, while the diffuser is a 10cm-diameter Fresnel lens. Produced by Oluce in Italy, the Fresnel lamp comes in various versions, including wall and ceiling lamps for indoor and outdoor use, as well as a floor lamp for outdoor use only. Colombo crafted Fresnel with the intention of creating a timeless, elegant object that embodied practicality and simplicity. The lamp's metal body is available in chrome-plated and white and black versions to complement the Fresnel lens. With over 75 years of experience, Oluce is the oldest Italian design company still active in the lighting industry. The brand's design philosophy is minimalistic, sophisticated, and decorative, showcased by their iconic lighting fixtures.
