The 'Coupé 3320' floor lamp, designed by Joe Colombo in 1967, is a direct light source with a metal lacquered base and structure. It features a revolving and height-adjustable chromium-plated arc and a lacquered aluminum reflector. Manufactured by Oluce in Italy, it was initially created as a variant of the Spider theme and later became one of Oluce's most popular collections. In 1968, it won the International Design Award from the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago and is now considered an iconic piece of Italian design. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Oluce produced a limited edition of 500 numbered pieces with a sleek, gold-trimmed finish and a 50th-anniversary engraving on the base. The lamp is included in the permanent collections at MoMA in New York and the Neue Sammlung Museum in Munich. The materials used are lacquered metal for the base, a chromium-plated stem, and a reflector in lacquered aluminum with a white color. The dimensions are D X cm x W 160 cm x H 240 cm, and it uses a max 100 W (E27) bulb. With a production delay of 8 weeks, Oluce, established in 1945, is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector still in operation today. The company's design aesthetic is crisp, linear, and decorative, and its lamps appear in some of the most important permanent design collections worldwide.
