The Colombo suspension lamp, created by visionary designer Joe Colombo in 1970, is a ceiling lamp that offers both direct and indirect lighting. Its chromium-plated stem and lacquered ceiling fixing add to its sleek design, while its adjustable reflector made from lacquered aluminum provides versatility. Produced by Italian lighting company Oluce, the Colombo lamp was one of the first domestic lamps to use the rapidly spreading halogen light. Made with clean shapes and technological functionality in mind, the Colombo lamp comes in black and chromium-plated stem variations and is available in an anodic bronze color. Measuring D X cm x W 128 cm x H 60/90 cm with a 290 cm cable, the lamp uses one max 24 W LED and is not UL Listed. Oluce, the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector that is still in operation today, has received numerous design awards and recognition for its excellent manufacturing. The company's lamps are found in many of the world's most important permanent design collections.
