The German company Tecta produced the Grand Repos lounge chair, which was designed by Jean Prouvé. Although this model is no longer in production, it was once known as the machine chair and only 1000 were made. Tecta has reintroduced this lounge chair in response to the 1928 model by Jean Prouvé. The seat position of the chair can be adjusted backwards by shifting bodyweight with a hidden spring mechanism, making it easy to return to a regular seated position. This specific lounge chair is constructed with black leather and nickeled steel, and the wheels at the front of the chair are very smooth.
