The D80 Grand Repos lounge armchair, a rare and stylish modern piece, was originally designed by Jean Prouvé in the 1920s and later executed by Tecta Germany in the 1980s as a reissue of the chair. With a limited production run of only 1000 pieces, this particular chair is now out of production and has been discontinued. This comfortable chair features a cleverly simple spring mechanism that allows for easy adjustability - users can shift their body weight to slide the seat position backwards and return to the regular position with ease. Dubbed the "Sitzmaschine" or "machine chair," this chair is made of nickel-plated steel and features a sleek, grey leather upholstery with an adjustable black leather neck pillow. Its front legs also feature smoothly working wheels, while the piece is labeled on its left side.
