Clocks with the label "Hawkeye" or Stevenson Manufacturing Company have previously appeared on the market without attribution. Isamu Noguchi, in his autobiography, mentions that he designed a series of cake molds (which were never produced), followed by a clock/kitchen timer case called "Measured Time," and then the "Radio Nurse" baby monitor along with the "Guardian Ear." Although an image of "Measured Time" was never published, it has recently been confirmed by The Noguchi Foundation that Isamu Noguchi was the designer, based on similarities in style and correspondence and relationships in Indiana that connect him with the Stevenson Manufacturing Company. Therefore, "Measured Time" is now recognized as Noguchi's first documented mass-produced design.
