Isamu Noguchi's "30N" Akari model features a Single Stem Base (T3) and a handmade shade made of washi and bamboo rims. The structure is composed of black lacquered metal, while the pyramidal base is made of cast iron and black lacquered metal stem. This series was first introduced in 1951 and features an early model with the iconic red logo, the Sun and the Moon, with the mention "Japan." The craftsmanship was performed by the skilled artisans at Ozeki Company in Gifu, Japan, resulting in a beautifully designed lamp.
