Critic tasting note: "Beautiful bright, medium-deep golden colour. Intense nose. I really think that this is one of those grapes that you can’t go wrong in a blind tasting it is very Gewurztraminer. Speaking about those rose petals with Middle East spices, with cardamom. With a lot of lush tropical fruit, yellow fruit, mirabelle, apricots and also some more of that dried spiciness like caraway, cumin and cardamom. Quite exotic. That is a beautiful palate. I think particularly for this variety. It is always best with a dash of sweetness to my taste. It is a quite high level of sweetness. This is probably more of what people would put in the dessert wine category. So very high and intense sweetness. Well-underlined by a good extract, that spiciness that adds freshness to the palate. Really bold lush with a very long and lingering finish. Truly and exotic wine. It presents itself really, really well today. But with this density and texture, it should go on for many, many years.
