Two available, this is an early 1960s "421" Diamond chair created by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International. The chair's steel rods are welded together and coated in durable Rilsan plastic, forming a perfectly contoured shape that provides comfort even without seat pads. This chair would be a stylish addition to any garden or patio. The patina on the chair adds to its historic beauty, and while some of the plastic coating has degraded at the bottom of the runners and extremities, it has been touched up in select places and remains in its original state. Though there is evidence of rust on the bolts and legs, the chair is structurally sound and adds a nice rustic touch.
