Arne Jacobsen and Hans J. Wegner, two renowned Danish designers, collaborated on a one-of-a-kind desk lamp. The duo created this lamp for the Aarhus City Hall. While Jacobsen was the architect who designed the building, Wegner was responsible for the furniture and interior design. This lamp is made with a white lacquered adjustable shade and base, as well as a brass stem and foot. It was designed between 1938-1941 and manufactured by Louis Poulsen. This vintage lamp has been rewired and is fully functional. We specialize in gathering original twentieth-century designs, with a particular focus on Scandinavian design from 1930 to 1960.
