This rocking chair is a beautiful example of Shaker-inspired design, featuring a spindled back, curved armrests, and a papercord seat. Designed by Hans Wegner for FDB Mobler in 1944, this Danish piece was produced around 1950. The beech framework and 3 ply hemp Danish cord seat make this chair both secure and comfortable. It has been professionally re-finished to bring out its honey-colored tones and is in great condition, with no signs of wear or loss on the seat. This mid-century modern design classic has stood the test of time and would make a practical and timeless addition to any modern home. The chair weighs 9.5kg and we invite you to browse our storefront for more 20th Century design pieces. Please note that shipping quotes provided by GLINT are indicative only.
