These are a rare collection of four chairs known as the model PP51/3 or V chair, which were created by Hans J. Wegner and produced by PP Mobler in Denmark in 1988. Wegner is renowned for designing the Valet Chair and Heart Chair in 1952-53, but his return to the three-legged chair theme resulted in a distinctive-looking chair without a top rail. Instead, it boasts a stunning, V-shaped backrest with a detailed joint visible from behind, where the half free-floating frame meets the 'V'. These chairs are crafted from solid oak and have a beautiful patina, testifying to their age and use. They are in excellent original condition and have the PP Mobler sticker on the underside.
