This iconic chair, produced for A.P Mobler, is upholstered with luxurious Hallingdal wool from Danish Kvadrat, enhanced with leather trimming and buttons. Additionally, the teak nails, fondly referred to as "paws," and legs further elevate the chair's aesthetic appeal. The perfect balance of comfort and beauty, the Papa Bear Chair is considered one of the most significant and coveted pieces of 20th-century furniture. Interestingly, the chair's name originated from a journalist who felt embraced by the chair and found it to have "paws" where his hands rested. In a nice way, he named it the "Papa Bear Chair."
