The PP 225 lounge chair, also known as the Flag Halyard chair, has been released in a new edition. It is a modernist design by Hans Wegner and pays tribute to Le Corbusier, Mies Van Der Rohe, and Marcel Breuer. Wegner took inspiration from steel and created the chair's shape during his family vacation in Aarhus, Denmark, where he experimented with sand. The seat, backrest, and armrests are made of a 240-meter halyard flag in one piece. The chair comes in different finishes including a white lacquered or brushed steel base, natural or black rope, white sheepskin or bi-color (included), headrests fabric, or black or natural leather. This is a made-to-order product and takes around 12 to 14 weeks for delivery.
