We are thrilled to offer an extraordinary and highly sought-after pair of JH 501 armchairs, famously known as "The Chair". These chairs are not only expertly designed for both style and comfort, but they are also exquisitely constructed from solid oak and bear the original branded maker's mark. Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, these armchairs were produced by Johannes Hansen and retailed by Knoll International. They were created in Denmark during the 1960s, and have since become a timeless and iconic piece of furniture with a fascinating history. Crafted from sculpted solid oak and black leather upholstery, these chairs measure 24.75"W x 21"D x 30"H, with a seat height of 18" and an arm height of 27.25". They have been expertly restored and reupholstered, and are in excellent condition. We currently have two pairs available, and the price is per pair.
