One of the most renowned designs of Danish mid-century modern period, crafted by Hans Wegner, is the GE 290 sofa and armchair produced by Getama. This series is identified by its robust and elongated "iron board style" armrests and rear feet that point backwards. This restored set features reupholstered pillows while retaining the original spring interiors, replaced foam and cleaned and oiled wooden frames. Crafted with wool and oak, this Danish 1960s set is marked on its underside. It is in excellent vintage condition, displaying a beautiful warm wood tone. The approximate dimensions of the set are 95 cm in height, 76 cm in width, and 83 cm in depth, with a seat height of 40 cm. The price for the set is available.
