In close cooperation with the Hans J. Wegner Design Studio and in alignment with Wegner's original working drawing, Carl Hansen & Søn put the CH26 dining chair into production. This iconic chair was part of a series Wegner designed specifically for the company, and it was created by translating the form of the CH22 lounge chair into a dining chair. Although Wegner never crafted a physical prototype of the CH26 armchair, it was reintroduced by Carl Hansen & Søn in 2016, coinciding with the reintroduction of the CH22. Boasting refined lines, an organic shape, and a hand-woven seat, the CH26 dining chair was designed for comfortable and extended seated experiences at a desk or a dining table. The chair is made of wood and papercord and is available in different frame and seat finish options. With packing dimensions of 32.5"H x 19.9"W x 21.5"L and a weight of 61.58 LBS, the CH26 dining chair is a high-quality product.
