Carl Hansen & Sà¬∏n collaborated closely with the Hans J. Wegner Design Studio to produce the CH26 dining chair, which was designed by Wegner as part of a series of iconic chairs for the company. The chair's organic shapes, refined back, and hand-woven seat closely resemble the CH22 lounge chair, but with proportions better suited for use at a dining table or desk. Although Wegner created a working drawing for the dining chair, he never manufactured a mock-up, and it remained unknown to the public for decades until Carl Hansen & Sà¬∏n brought the design to life in 2016. The CH26 is made from wood and papercord with an oak oil frame finish and a natural papercord seat finish. It is also available in other frame and seat finishes. The chair measures 20.4in D x 23.3in W x 31.4in H, and weighs 61.58 LBS. when packed for shipment.
