The CH23 dining chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1950 for Carl Hansen & Sà¬∏n, was one of his first creations and was a unique masterpiece that set new standards for modern furniture design. Despite its simple appearance, the chair boasts many intricate details, including elegant cruciform cover caps in the backrest, a hand-woven seat, and backward arching rear legs for maximum stability. Carl Hansen & Sà¬∏n re-released the CH23 in 2017, remaining true to Wegner's original drawing and reviving the early masterpiece for the collection. Additionally, the chair is available in different frame finishes, including oak oil and walnut oil, as well as different seat finishes, such as natural papercord. Measuring 19.8 inches in depth, 19.8 inches in width, and 30.9 inches in height, the CH23 dining chair is a stunning piece of furniture that combines elegance and sophistication.
