A unique batch of (6) W2 chairs crafted by Hans Wegner for C.M. Madsen in the 1950s, renowned as the chair guru for his creation of numerous iconic pieces throughout the 50s and 60s, now displayed in museums across the world. These chairs have undergone expert rejuvenation, complete with brand new, skillfully hand-woven cane seats and a fresh, hand-oiled, solid oak frame. The cane material will mature with time and eventually darken. There are no underlying structural defects. Each chair proudly displays a designer and maker's emblem on the stretcher bar interior in an excellent manner.
