In 2015, during the prestigious Baselworld event, Laurent Picciotto, the discerning owner of Chronopassion, was captivated by the mesmerizing allure of the Venturer Tourbillon Dual Time Sapphire Skeleton crafted by H. Moser & Cie. This horological masterpiece, valued at 1 million Swiss Francs, left an indelible impression on him. Renowned for its innovative design, this extraordinary timepiece boasted a revolutionary skeleton movement encased entirely in sapphire, complemented by a unique 3D printed strap. Enamored by the first creation, Laurent's passion for horology led him to commission a second model from the skilled artisans at the Schaffhausen-based Manufacture. This subsequent timepiece, characterized by an even more audacious sapphire case, drew inspiration from the iconic H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Collection. The transparent sapphire case, with its intricate finish and unconventional shapes, masterfully accentuated the elegance of the HMC 803 automatic calibre within. The meticulously skeletonized movement, enriched with a striking blue hue through the advanced CVD process, seamlessly blended modern architectural elements with traditional haute horlogerie craftsmanship. The exquisite detailing of the bridges, adorned with nickel silver and a luxurious blue finish, perfectly harmonized with the timeless design of the timepiece. Encased within the ultra-thin bezel of the Venturer, the hand-finished movement was elegantly showcased through the transparent sapphire flange. The delicate rose gold hands, along with the majestic tourbillon bridge, added a touch of opulence to the intricate mechanism.
