Available in limited quantities with only 15 pieces in each of its four editions - Funky Blue, Burgundy, Ice Blue, and Off White - this timepiece is a true collector's treasure. Drawing inspiration from the innovative three-dimensional movements pioneered by MB&F, this collaboration timepiece showcases a mesmerizing one-minute flying tourbillon that elegantly emerges through a distinctive ventricular opening at the 12 o'clock position, all encased under a protective sapphire dome. Leveraging the technical prowess of Precision Engineering AG, a sister company to H. Moser & Cie, the tourbillon is equipped with a rare cylindrical balance spring, mirroring the cutting-edge technology found in MB&F's LM Thunderdome. The cylindrical balance spring, a nod to 18th-century horology, coils vertically around the upper rod of the balance staff, resembling a spiral or corkscrew. Unlike traditional flat balance springs, this innovative design promotes concentric movement, enhancing isochronism and reducing pivot friction. While challenging to produce, requiring ten times more effort than standard balance springs, its unique shape and Breguet overcoil attachment points contribute to superior timekeeping precision and longevity.
