This vintage dining table boasts a beautiful pine top and legs, originally designed by Millet and Prouvé for the Jean Prouvé mountain refuge situated at the Vanoise Pass in Savoie, France circa 1972. It is in good vintage condition and comes with provenance from the same refuge. Rey-Millet and Prouvé's collaboration on the Vanoise Pass Refuge follows their successful completion of the "Cascade" building for the Les Arcs French ski resort project in the late 1960s. Documentation of the piece can be found in Bernard Marrey and Louis Fruitet's "Jean Prouvé dans les Alpes", on page 94.
