Dressed in Dedar fabric, the furniture pieces from Robert Guillerme, who completed his education in design and architecture from école Boule in 1934, have withstood the test of time. During the post-World War II era, Guillerme decorated homes and designed furniture for Rogier workshops in Lille, north of France. In 1948, Jacques Chambron, who was previously working as a painter and decorator in Paris, joined forces with Guillerme, forming the foundation of what would later be referred to as Votre Maisoń. The company would witness the emergence of over two thousand models of furniture during the second half of the 20th century. The blend of functionality and aesthetics was at the core of Guillerme's designs, which included everything from grand dressers to lighting arrangements. Chambron, on the other hand, focused on client relationships and decor, inspiring and evangelizing Votre Maisoń's design ethos.
