These dining chairs from the 1960s are a lovely set of four crafted from solid oak by the acclaimed French designer duo, Guillerme and Chambron. Exuding the signature style of this duo, the chairs boast a distinctive frame with a notable gap in the backrest that imbues the design with character and lightness. To add a soft and natural ambiance to the chairs, the seats are upholstered with straw. Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) and Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) founded their production company postwar, with much of their furniture showcasing an expressive woodwork. They eventually settled in an old factory equipped to manufacture rifles, which they repurposed to create their high-back chair designs. Their line of furniture pieces was executed in small editions and aptly dubbed "Votre Maison," translating to "Your home" in English.
