This set of eight dining chairs from the 1960s is a delightful and sophisticated addition to any space. Made from oak, the preferred material of Guillerme et Chambron, these chairs feature playful upholstery in natural and blue hues. The backrests have a flattering shape and the chairs have a light look while still being sturdy and practical. Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) and Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) founded Votre Maison in Lille in the Post-War period, working alongside manufacturer émile Dariosecq. They repurposed an old factory with machinery used to make rifles, and decided to use this machinery for their designs, resulting in their distinctive high back chairs. Their line of furniture pieces was made in small editions and named "Votre Maison" (which means "Your Home"). Guillerme designed the furniture, Chambron decorated the homes, and Dariosecq produced the furniture. While the chairs vary slightly in color tone and patina, they retain their appeal. We recommend reupholstering the seating to make them even more enjoyable.
