This oak credenza from the 1960s, by Guillerme et Chambron for Votre Maison, features two sliding doors on the front with two shelves behind them, and one more door on each side for extra storage. After being fully cleaned, it was waxed with a neutral color wax and is in good condition. Guillerme et Chambron have made their mark on French design history through their work with Votre Maison. Even though they initially met as prisoners in a camp during World War II, Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron parted ways in the post-war years. Guillerme put his talent to use at the Rogier workshops while Chambron ran his own painting and decoration workshop in Paris. It wasn't until 1948, when Chambron and his family moved to Lille, that the two men reconnected with Emile Darioseq, an owner of a cabinetry workshop seeking new ventures. Thus, in 1949, Votre Maison was born.
