During their captivity in a Prussian prisoner camp, they discovered their shared passion for interior design, resulting in a lifelong friendship. In 1948, Chambron left his job as a painter and decorator on the Rue Nollet in Paris and joined Guillerme in Lille, France. Soon after, they met émile Dariosecq, a cabinetmaker, and formed their own company, 'Votre Maison' - meaning your home in French. Their goal was to produce furniture that combined both functionality and beautiful design, resulting in a global reputation. The duo's pieces display strong character, with intricate woodwork and expressive designs. Guillerme served as the designer, Chambron focused on sales, and Dariosecq's workshop manufactured the pieces. Throughout their career, 'Votre Maison' produced over two thousand models, leaving an indelible mark in the world of design.
