In 2014, Glashütte Original unveiled the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, a captivating addition to its esteemed 20th Century Vintage Collection. This timepiece showcases a brand-new chronograph movement meticulously crafted within the renowned German watchmaker’s Glashütte atelier. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic design ethos of the 1970s, the Seventies Panorama Date exudes a timeless elegance that pays homage to an era marked by innovative shapes and artistic advancements. Embodying the essence of the collection, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date boasts a refined dial layout that seamlessly combines form and function. Positioned at 9 o’clock, the small seconds dial with a striking black and white power reserve indicator sits opposite the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. The subtly smaller yet undeniably chic hour counter, featuring Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 elegantly displayed in a central window just below 12 o’clock, harmonizes with the iconic Panorama Date display located on the lower half of the dial. Enhancing readability, the indexes and hour and minute hands are crafted from luminous white gold with Super-LumiNova accents. The showcased model showcases a galvanized grey dial with a captivating dégradé effect, enriching the visual appeal of this timepiece. Originally introduced in 2019, the Ref. 1-37-02-04-02-35 presents a stainless steel case, a mesmerizing green dial, and a luxurious nubuck strap secured with a folding clasp.
