In 2014, Glashütte Original unveiled the exquisite Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, a standout addition to its esteemed 20th Century Vintage Collection. This timepiece boasts a brand-new chronograph movement meticulously crafted within the heart of Glashütte, Germany. Drawing inspiration from the bold aesthetics of the 1970s, the Seventies Panorama Date captures the essence of that era's innovative design trends. Echoing the spirit of the collection, the dial of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date exudes elegance and simplicity. Positioned at 9 o’clock, the small seconds dial with a contrasting black and white power reserve indicator, while the 30-minute counter sits at 3 o’clock. A chic hour counter, displaying Arabic numerals from 1 to 12, is centered below 12 o’clock, gracefully offset by the signature Panorama Date display at the lower half of the dial. Enhancing legibility, the indexes and hour and minute hands are crafted in white gold, with Super-LumiNova accents. Encased in a polished square bezel with soft corners and a satin-brushed stainless steel case, this timepiece radiates a distinctive vintage Seventies allure. Available in different variations, the Ref. 1-37-02-03-02-30 features a stainless steel case, a blue dial, and an alligator strap with a folding clasp. Meanwhile, the Ref. 1-37-02-03-02-50 offers the same features with a shorter folding clasp. The Ref. 1-37-02-01-02-33 boasts a blue dial, a stainless steel case, and a rubber strap with a folding clasp.
