The PanoMaticCounter XL watch showcases a captivating counter complication with a touch of elegance and efficiency. A striking feature is the red numerals set against a black backdrop within a double-digit window at the 9 o’clock position. The user can engage the counter through three pushers on the left side of the stainless steel case. The plus pusher advances the count incrementally from 00 to 99, the minus pusher counts down, and the zero pusher resets the counter to zero (00). At the heart of this masterpiece lies the Calibre 96-01, a sophisticated column wheel chronograph with a flyback function, comprising 584 meticulously-crafted components. This caliber, derived from the acclaimed Glashütte Original Caliber 95, features a patented bilateral winding mechanism that efficiently transfers energy to the movement, adapting intelligently to the wearer's behavior. The innovative counter complication, requiring 217 individual parts, adds a unique dimension to this exceptional timepiece. Positioned opposite the counter window at 3 o’clock is the visually striking Glashütte Original panorama date display, showcasing the date in white numerals against a black background. The off-center hour and minute display, situated in the lower half of the dial, is aligned with the large chronograph stop-seconds scale in the upper half. Each variant of this watch comes with a specific clasp option: Reference 1-96-01-02-02-04 features a folding clasp, Reference 1-96-01-02-02-50 is equipped with a short folding clasp, and Reference 1-96-01-02-02-01 is fitted with a pin buckle.
