This is a beautiful and comfortable seating piece by Italian masters De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi. The patinated camel leather has a desirable texture, and all cushions are in great shape without any notable wear. The segmented walnut sides and back give the sofa a sophisticated design. It is an exquisite and uncommon piece that retains its originality and is in stunning condition, with only minor patina from age and usage. Paolo Lomazzi collaborated with Jonathan de Pas and Donato D'Urbino beginning in 1966. During the 1960s and 1970s, they focused on creating furniture and temporary architecture with industrial materials and technology. Their designs were featured in numerous exhibitions, including at the Museum of Modern Art and The Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York and the VIctoria and Albert Museum in London. They also designed for prestigious institutions such as the Jerusalem Museum and the United Nations. The archive of their work was declared of particular historical interest and donated to the CASVA of Milan in 2010.
