The Gio Ponti vanity was originally designed in 1955 for Hotel Royal in Naples and was produced by Fontana Arte. This limited edition piece was made of brass, ash, and black marquihna marble, with an adjustable mirror that could be extracted from its marble base. In 2021, CG customized the original piece by adding a black marble support, making it a unique and one-of-a-kind item. While it does have some small signs of wear on the mirror, the original screws for fixing it on the desk are still available and there is a certificate of authenticity from Lisa Licitra Ponti, along with an original invoice from the hotel. The Gio Ponti vanity has been exhibited in multiple venues and featured in literature such as "Gio Ponti LA COMMITTENZA FERNANDES" by Fabrizio Mautone and "Gio Ponti: L'Arte Si Innamora Dell'Industria" edited by Ugo La Pietra.
