This is a rare vanity dressing table designed by Gio Ponti for use in the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Roma. The piece was manufactured in 1964 by Giordano Chiesa and boasts two drawers. Made of ash, laminate, and nickel-plated brass, the table unfortunately no longer has its mirror. The item is inscribed with a number in blue crayon on the underside of the drawers, and measures H 75.5 cm, 95 x 46.5 cm (with the drawer). Despite the missing mirror, the table is still in good condition and comes with a copy of the certificate of Lisa Licitra Ponti. This particular item comes directly from the original furniture of the Hotel PdP, and a copy of the original invoice is available upon request. Exhibited in various exhibitions such as Gio' Ponti Design Made in Italy, the piece is also mentioned in Gio Ponti l'arte si innamora dell'industria and Gio Ponti by Ugo La Pietra.
