Crafted in Italy during the early 1950s, this round dining table exhibits the artistic vision of Gio Ponti. Made from solid mahogany, its sculptural frame features a stylish cross base and four legs. The table top, also made from mahogany, boasts a veneered upper layer composed of stunning Thuja burr. Meticulously crafted using high-quality materials, this refined piece is a true testament to skilled artistry. Noted as a precursor to later designs produced by Singer and Sons from 1953 onwards, this table is in overall excellent condition and comes with a certificate of expertise from the Gio Ponti Archives (no. 16194/000).
