This is a unique floor lamp designed by Gio Ponti for Guzzini in Italy, circa 1967. The lamp features a curved white plexiglass shade, held in place by four chromed bolts and a handle. It contains a single neon light inside and is rare in this size. Measuring 117cm in height, 18cm in diameter and 20cm in width, the lamp remains in good original condition. For similar models, please refer to Domus 450 May 1967 p.30 and Domus 483 February 1970 p.44, or to Gio Ponti by Ugo La Pietra, Rizzoli Edition, p.346.
