This is a pristine, original Gio Ponti headboard in a white and green laminate finish. It boasts a single formica and brushed metal design with two angular shelves, an original TV plate controller, and a hole for electrical outlets. Manufactured by Giordano Chiesa in 1964, this piece is made of laminate, ash, plastic, brass, and enameled brass. It comes directly from the original furniture of the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome, with an original invoice available upon request. Measuring 75cm in height and 146cm x 44cm in size, it is inscribed with the number 14 in blue crayon, probably the room number of the hotel. The item is sold with a copy of Lisa Licitra Ponti's certificate and is featured in various literature and exhibitions on Gio Ponti's work.
