This table lamp, designed by Gio Ponti for Guzzini during the 1960s, is a truly unique find. Its tubular design features an acrylic diffuser and chromed metal backplate, and has been thoroughly cleaned, rewired, and checked, with the original Bakelite bulb socket retained. While there are minor signs of use, the lamp remains in excellent condition. This Polsino model is a rare collector's item, having been produced for only a short time. In fact, we have not yet come across another version of this size with a chrome metal finish. Made in Italy, it bears a Design House label by Harvey Guzzini. The lamp is constructed from chrome-plated steel, aluminum, and acrylic materials. Measuring 39 cm in height, 21 cm in width, and 15 cm in depth, it can be modified to suit the US power grid by swapping out the plug and bulb.
