This is a pair of armchairs that were designed by Gio Ponti in the 1950s and produced in Italy. They feature a beech wood structure with a carefully crafted and intentional design. The armrests have sinuous and soft lines that are also distinct and recognizable. Each side of the armchair has a single wooden structure that forms the legs and supports the armrests. The armrests follow an upward oblique trajectory from the back before bending again. The armchairs were originally upholstered with an old striped fabric, but they underwent a restoration phase where the wooden armrests were repaired and the old padding was removed. The armchairs were then completely reupholstered with a unique and precious "Marco" fabric from the Nobilis Paris company, which enhances their overall beauty.
