These are a pair of armchairs bearing the model name "516," initially created by Ponti for adorning the Tranatlantico Conte Biancamano. Figli di Amadeo Cassina, based in Italy, manufactured them around 1950. The chairs are furnished with an off-white cream painted walnut and have a pierced slat back.
