This armchair belongs to the Molteni&C Heritage Collection and is a modern interpretation of the D.153.1, which was originally designed by Gio Ponti for his personal use in 1934 at VIa Dezza in Milan. Molteni&C created this re-edition by referring to Ponti's original drawings, and the D.153.1 was showcased at the Salone del Mobile in 2012. The chair features an upholstered structure with a solid fir frame and elastic straps covered in custom polyurethane of varying thicknesses. The armrest is also made of solid fir and covered in polyurethane with bonded velveteen lining. The legs are heat-sealed steel with a satin brass finish and non-slip plastic feet. The outer cover is removable by experts and is TB117 compliant for fire resistance. With dimensions of 103cm x 77cm x 80cm and a seat height of 35cm, this armchair is a beautiful addition to any space.
