The '5559' model of the Extendable Pedestal Dining Table, designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in the 60s, is a versatile and practical piece of furniture. It features a sleek white Formica surface and comes with 2 extension plates, allowing the table to be extended from its basic length of 188cm to 233cm and, at maximum, 284cm. With both extensions in place, the table can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. The extension plates are conveniently stored under the main plate, keeping them close at hand when needed. The table is 188/233/284cm in length, 102cm in depth, and 71.5cm in height. Although it shows some signs of wear, including a minor flaw on the plate and some wear on the feet, it remains in good used condition. Please note that the Panton Chairs seen in the images are not included in this offer. Overall, this table is a stylish and practical addition to any dining room, offering flexibility and functionality in equal measure.
