This dining armchair, designed by George Nakashima for the Grand Rapids-based company Widdicomb in the 1960s, is a rare piece from the acclaimed designer's collection. The chair is part of Widdicomb's "Origins" collection and features an upholstered Alexander Girard Lanalux fabric seat and seatback with tufting. The chair boasts two elegantly curved armrests and rests on two rear angled legs and tapered dowel front legs. The dimensions of the chair are 25.25" in width, 26" in depth, and 38.5" in height, with a seat height of 16.5". This piece is in excellent restored condition, having been professionally refinished and upholstered in Alexander Girard Lanalux fabric.
