The design of this cabinet is a perfect example of Nakashima's pursuit of simplicity and the beauty of natural wood. Its flawless execution highlights the remarkable walnut grain details on both the top and sides, elegantly punctuated with dovetail joinery. This particular piece is the largest of Nakashima's "face drawer cabinet" series with his iconic inlet pulls. Despite minor marks and chips, the original finish showcases a luxurious patina that exudes warmth. The clean interiors of all seven drawers function seamlessly, and the cabinet body is signed with the original client's surname on the back.
